Mardi Gras Trail Ride

The Louisiana Equine Council is proud to sponsor this Mardi Gras After Party Trail Ride at PJF Farm located just 7 miles north of Ville Platte, LA on beautiful Cazan Lake.  The trail ride itself will take place on Saturday, February 17th, 2024.   Come for the day or make reservations for the weekend by clicking this link to the PJF Farm website.  PJF Farm will announce on THAT page when camping reservations will be available, probably later in the year or the first part of 2024.    Decorate your horse, decorate yourself!  This is an authentic rural Cajun Mardi Gras Trail Ride, complete with a Chicken Chase!  If you avoided the crowds and hustle and bustle of Mardi Gras, you can still get a taste of it with this AFTER PARTY trail ride. The ride itself will last about 3 hours.   Please read our ride rules as this is a family oriented event.   This is not just a trail ride.  Your ticket purchase includes lunch, dinner, an afternoon of fun and entertaining horse games that you can participate in or watch, an evening party with great dance tunes and DJ, and costume contest!  Purchase your tickets right here, print them out and bring them with you.
